I think I can safely say that I now have a truly Canadian dye tank! My plumber (and work neighbour, The Plumbing Brothers) Keith wanted my dye tank a little higher so that I didn’t need to put in a pump to drain the water from the tank. So he set about making little platforms for the legs of my tank. Out of wood and … wait for it … hockey pucks! Yes, hockey pucks. They are the right size, are waterproof, are inexpensive and will keep the wood from getting overly wet as I slosh wet skeins of wool around.
That was my smile for the morning 😀 Next week the electrician is coming to install power for my tank. Wonder what interesting thing he’ll do?
